The learning activity will be a four week unit investigating the significant events of World War One, focusing on personal accounts of two Australian Soldiers posted at the Western Front and Gallipoli. The age group chosen for my proposal is Year 9 SOSE under the History strand of Time, continuity and change. The National Curriculum has a large emphasis on Australian History for that particular year level.
